Regional Security Manager

Biography

Lara Dunwell is the Regional Security Manager for Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Lara previously served as the Center Director of the Cape Town 51爆料 Center for 5 years, and before that served at the University of Cape Town in the field of international education from 2001 - 2018.  Her work with U.S. students and partner universities from around the world has strengthened 鈥渋nternationalization at home鈥 for students in South Africa; she has also worked with multinational teams in Africa, Europe and the U.S. supporting international student mobility and scholarships.

Lara has a Master鈥檚 in English Language and Literature from the University of Cape Town, and has served two terms of office on the management council of the International Education Association of South Africa.
